Italy Revenue Agency opens call center on two Saturdays for 730 deadline rush
Taxpayers scrambling to file their annual returns before the deadline can get extra help from the Italy Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), which has announced two special Saturday openings on 19 and 26 September. The call center, normally limited to weekdays, will operate from 9:00 to 13:00 on both Saturdays to assist citizens with their precompiled 730 forms before the 30 September 2026 deadline.
How to reach the helpline
The service is aimed at non-professional users — employees, pensioners and anyone filing their own return — and is staffed by specialized tax consultants who can guide callers through viewing and completing the precompiled declaration.
Three numbers are available:
• 800.90.96.96 from a landline — toll-free
• 06.97.61.76.89 from a mobile phone — caller pays according to their operator's rate
• 0039.06.45.47.04.68 from abroad — caller bears the cost
Standard weekday hours remain 9:00 to 17:00. At the end of each call, taxpayers can leave an anonymous rating on the quality of assistance received, part of the agency's regular customer satisfaction monitoring.
Delegating a family member or trusted person
Since May 2022, taxpayers have been able to authorize a family member or trusted person to manage their online services, including the 730. This delegation can be granted to spouses, children, parents, relatives and in-laws up to the fourth degree, as well as to professionals such as CAF operators.
The authorization can be set up through the reserved area of the Revenue Agency website using SPID, CIE or CNS digital credentials, via certified email (PEC), in person at any territorial office, or through a video call with an agency official.
